Do you sell online?

Unfortunately we do not. We want to focus more so on indie dyers, so selling online puts us in direct competition with our suppliers. Plus our space is limited and I'd need additional storage space, additional stock, etc. However, since we are a college town, and a lot of the students go home on breaks, we will be able to ship an extra ball of whatever in a matching dye lot if the need arrises. Please contact us via email at info@blackpurlfibres.com if you need something sent and we will do our best to accommodate you!


Do you offer classes?

Currently we do not, and will not for the foreseeable future. Hopefully by the end of the year we can get something in place.


Can you help me with a project if I have a problem?

Of course! I've been knitting for over 26 years, and have a bit of experience in crochet as well. I can't possibly know everything, but I will certainly do everything I can to help you figure out any problems you come across.


Will you allow drop in knitting or crocheting?

Yes! Our drop in policy is that you use yarn that we carry when knitting in the store. If you need to work on something we don't carry, we ask that you pay a small fee that we will gladly apply to any purchase made that day in the store.
